The Betelnut Jeep Tour Warning:
This is not a luxury air con tour. You will spend a lot of time in the sun, you will get dirty and sweaty, you will have to do some walking and climb in and out of the jeep. This trip is not for everyone. Roads are bumpy, elephants will put dirt and snot on you and if it rains you will get wet. We have never had a complaint and we would like to keep it that way. If this doesn't sound like your idea of fun - don't do it. However, if you want a unique experience, can handle getting hot and dirty and want to meet some amazing people who are working with some incredible animals - then this is your trip:)
The cost of the trip is $33 per person.
This price includes transport, entry fee to the centre, a guided tour (which
includes play time with the elephants and a close encounter with the tigers)
and lunch. Only additional costs are if you want to purchase drinks on site
which are around 50c each.
Trip leaves Lazy Gecko Cafe at 10 am returning at between 5.30
and 6.30 in the evening.

Additional Information
*Tours run 3 days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
*Minimum 2 people. If there is only one of you, don't be
scared to book. We usually have extra people who have also booked.
*Wear lots of sunscreen and pack a raincoat.
*Charge your camera and make sure its got lots of memory available.
*Drink lots of water - it's hot out there. We provide water at lunch. Additional
water, coke and beer can be purchased onsite for around 50c / 2000riel.
*Travel is by open topped military jeep.
