Black necked stork
This regal looking bird stands at 150 cm tall and has a 230 cm wingspan. They dine on fish, frogs and insects. Both the males and females look the same with the only obvious difference being in their eyes - males have a brown iris whilst females have a yellow iris.Despite their wide range including areas of Australia and South East Asia, they are classified as Near Threatened which can be attributed mainly to water pollution and habitat destruction.
